Description
This is practically the lightest double trailer you can buy at only 650kg unladen. It can be driven on a normal car licence with up to 650kg of horse / ponies in it. I have been towing this with my Picasso and one 15.3hh horse with ease. Rear load and unload full size front jockey door - has had repair to hinges but work perfectly. Padded partition - newly covered and painted Only set up for one horse - ie partition with front breast bar and breech strap - the other side has been used for storage and to sleep in !! It will be simple to put a 2nd breast bar and breech strap in. Treated wood to floor, replaced 2 years ago - very solid - covered in thick rubber matting. New treated wooden ramp covered in rubber matting (has some minor damage caused by my horse that I have repaired!). Middle ramp hinge is not moving so has damaged the metal but causes no problem to the stability or safety of the ramp. New Storm cover made with waterproof cordura and secured with turn buttons. Rolls up and secures with clips when travelling horses. New mudguards 4 x NEW tyres 1 month ago, spare tyre on side nearly new. Working trailer board on rear - crack to electric plug but doesn't cause a problem. Brakes and bearings all checked. Hitch and jockey wheel all sound.
I have spent a lot of time and money on this trailer and really don't want to sell it but need one with front unload. I have recently towed it to Kent on the M25 and hardly knew it was there, it really is a nice trailer to tow. My horse loads and travels very well in it and doesn't get hot at all, very well vented, he just panics when unloading and I can't see him improving as he is highly strung !!
