She mainly hacks out and will go first or last, doesnt get excited and has cantered in front and behind sensibly. For sale as I have no rider, she is currently being ridden up and down the lane by my 11yr old niece who only started riding last year. Juliet always produces fantastic foals who go right up to height and this one is no exception. They have correct conformation, masses of bone and are amazing movers. She is the Mum of Hilin Challenger (palomino) who we bought as a foal and who went on to do unbelievably well in his first season under saddle culminating in going to Olympia in 2008. I personally think Zoffany could be a better pony - he has a beautiful head with enormous presence - he certainly knows he is special! At present he is palomino but I am not sure what colour he will end up as he is either dun or palomino around his eyes as his coat changes - it's difficult to tell at this stage. He has four perfect white stockings up to the knee and a perfect blaze. The world is his oyster as he will be an excellent contender for the foal shows this year, to be shown in hand next year and eventually go under saddle or make an absolutely top ridden pony and/or stallion. I am looking for a fairly experianced rider to hack her out a few times a week and school if they wish. There is alot of nice riding in my area inc. schools availbe for hire, woods literally 10 yards from stables, estate grounds and also schooling in the field. There are no stable chores although occasional poo-picking may be required. I am looking for £10 per ride and for somebody able to ride at least twice weekly. Rosie is in my eyes quite easy - she has good brakes, would never bolt and if asked correctly will do whatever you ask of her incl. jumping. However that said, she is bolshy in hand if you're not firm/confident and can be nappy/stroppy. She has thrown the odd buck but nothing dangerous but no point in saying she hasnt. If you know how to ride then she is easy - she is not for beginners and not for weak spirited - this horse will reap you rewards if you make sure she knows you're boss.
